of Nappy Package Hire

By hiring any of our nappy packages, you agree to our Nappy Packages Terms and Conditions.

 

Please read all terms, conditions, wash and care instructions prior to use.

 

 

HIRE PERIODS AND EXTENSIONS

 

We have an 8 week standard hire period, which can be extended before hire or within the first four weeks of hire as required. Hire starts from the designated start date or when nappies arrive at your door, whichever happens later, and ends when you post your nappies back. If your baby is born prematurely or is unwell, please contact us and we will do our best to adjust the start date according to your circumstances.

 

 

SHIPPING INFORMATION

 

Nappies will be dispatched 10 days prior to your designated start date if time allows, or within 5 business days of payments being cleared. We will use Sendle courier service wherever possible, please allow up to 10 Business days for delivery. Typically delivery is faster in capital cities. We cannot deliver to PO Boxes, so please provide a street address. If you are in a rural area without courier service we will deliver the package via Australia Post. You will be notified of the tracking number for your delivery via email when it has shipped. 

 

 

CLEANING OF NAPPIES BETWEEN HIRES

 

All nappies are sanitised and washed thoroughly prior to any hire. We follow the cleaning and sanitation methods as well as wash routines from the ‘Clean Cloth Nappies’ website: https://cleanclothnappies.com.

 

 

INVOICES

 

Purchase of the packs occurs at checkout. Any outstanding debts will be pursued via debt collection agency, if invoices are not paid after an email reminder.

 

 

CONTENTS OF PACKAGES

 

A check-list is provided with your pack, please use this to ensure sure all items are received. All items on the check-list excluding the disposable bamboo liners and GroVia BioSoakers remain the property of Cloth Tots and must be returned upon the completion of your rental period.

 

Pack photos are an example of contents but prints are not guaranteed.

 

CLOTH TOTS WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ITEMS THAT GO MISSING IN TRANSIT. The package is your responsibility until it is received by us.

 

 

CONDITION OF PACKAGES

 

The nappies will be sent to you in clean, excellent - used condition or new, prewashed condition. All nappies are sanitised between hires, see 'CLEANING OF NAPPIES BETWEEN HIRES' above. Excellent-used condition is defined as having tight elastics, PUL covers uncracked and without delamination, velcro and snap closures working and lining and inserts free of stains.   

 

Dry pails are cleaned and disinfected between hires. The outside of the pail may be subject to some wear and marks in transit.

 

 

CARE OF NAPPIES

 

While in your care, you will be responsible for the care and laundering of your nappies. It is expected that you will use the wash guide provided to you or a suitable laundromat. If you have any queries regarding laundering nappies, please contact us to assist where necessary.

 

Following the wash guide, do not wash any items in temperatures greater than 60 ºC. Additionally, ensure velcro closures are secured to prevent damage.

 

Do not use fabric softeners, vinegar, or bleach when washing any items from the pack. Please contact us to assist where necessary.

 

When hanging nappies to dry, hang horizontally across the line to prevent damage to the elastic. If using a dryer is necessary, only use a LOW temperature setting. High temperatures can cause irreparable damage to PUL covers and elastics.  

 

 

RETURN OF NAPPY PACKAGE

 

If the package cannot be returned within the outlined time frame for any reason, please contact us to discuss. Extensions may be available at an additional cost. Please contact us within the first four weeks of your hire period to arrange.

 

Nappies must be returned cleaned and dry as per ‘CARE OF NAPPIES’ guidelines. If nappies are returned stained, smelly or with dye transfer from other fabrics, you will be charged an additional amount at our discretion. This is to cover additional laundering or replacement as required.

 

A week before your rental period is due to finish we will contact you with a reminder as well as to organise return delivery. You are responsible for the package until it is received by us. The pack must be available for collection by the courier on the date booked, or in rural areas, lodged with Australia Post within 48 hours of the completion of your hire period. If the package is not put out for pickup by the courier, or marked with a postmark more than 48 hours after the finish date, you will be invoiced for an additional $15 per day over.

 

 

ACCEPTABLE CONDITION OF RETURNED PACKS

 

To help with out of pocket expenses, Cloth Tots doesn't request a security bond with hire. 

Alternatively, to ensure that we get the nappies and accessories back and in the same condition they were sent out, we will invoice for the replacement of items missing or received in unacceptable condition.

 

We define unacceptable condition as:

  • Nappies have lost absorbency or are repelling.

  • Nappies have been soaked in chemicals.

  • Nappies have stains that are unable to be removed or strong ammonia smells.

  • Nappies have been altered or damaged beyond repair

  • The PUL nappy covers are destroyed due to excessive heat from a dryer.

 

If we have any concerns with returned nappies, we will contact you to discuss. If at any point you are unsure please contact us and we can help you.

 

In the case of missing items or items damaged beyond repair you will be responsible for replacement costs. They will be charged at the current recommended retail price with payment terms of 7 days, sent via email. Any outstanding debts will be pursued via debt collection agency, if invoices are not paid after an email reminder, which could incur an additional fee.

 

REFUND POLICY

 

Refunds are available in certain circumstances, if you find yourself in any of the below circumstances, or if you have any concerns or queries, please let us know. 

If you notify us of your change of mind before your pack is sent, we will refund your rental fee less an administration fee.

Once your pack has been sent, we cover a 3-day change of mind from the start of the hire period. You will be refunded the rental fee upon return of the nappy package in acceptable condition less an administration and cleaning* fee.

If you experience pregnancy loss, we will refund your rental fee on return of the unused pack.

If a purchased item is faulty, we will refund the full cost of the item, as well as covering the return postage. Please contact us to arrange this.

 

*All nappies that have been shipped will require deep cleaning and sanitation as per ‘CLEANING OF NAPPIES BETWEEN HIRES’ above.
